About MSABC

 The Malaysia-South Africa Business Council (MSABC) is an organisation for companies and individuals interested in promoting and developing business relations between the two countries to contribute towards the advancement of both the Malaysian and South African economy.

 In February 1997 the MSABC was incorporated and the Council was launched jointly by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Datuk Seri Dr. Mahathir  Mohamad and the President of South Africa, Dr. Nelson Mandela in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysian in March 1997.   

The MSABC has currently 25 Corporate Members that come from various fields of business such as telecommunication, logistics, construction, trading, etc.  Among them are Country Height Holdings Bhd, WCT Engineering Bhd, TM International Sdn Bhd, Sasol Wax Sdn Bhd and PPMS Technologies Sdn Bhd.

The Council’s aims to be a vehicle for businessmen from both countries to forge ties and partnerships and to take advantage of trade and investment opportunities in the two countries.  The MSABC is financed solely by its members.  It’s a vibrant organisation that continuously strives to improve its services and to tailor its activities to member’s needs.

 Here’s What the MSABC Can Offer YOU :

 *          To act as a forum for the presentation and exchange of information on business issues affecting South African and Malaysian firms.

*           To promote closer co-operation between the respective business communities.

*           When necessary, to represent the members in responding to statutory organisation on business conditions.

*           Conduct seminars and briefings with prominent business leaders and government officials on matters relating to trade, commerce and investment.

*           Forge links with other trade organisation in member countries and the ASEAN region.
